A. Aubteen Darabi, Ph.D.

CNSTAR Lead Scientist and Principal Investigator (PI)

Dr. Darabi has been the PI of several research and development projects for the U.S. Navy, and he currently serves as director of the Center for National Security Training and Research (CNSTAR). He teaches Change Management and Performance Systems Analysis courses in the Department of Educational Psychology and Learning Systems at the Florida State University. In addition to his work with military organizations, he has extensive experience working with state agencies and private organizations.

Laura Hassler Lang, Ph.D.

Co-Principal Investigator (Co-PI) and LSI Director

As Director of the Learning Systems Institute and Associate Professor of Educational Leadership at Florida State University, Dr. Hassler Lang has been the PI on numerous research and development projects, primarily related to K-12 education, including data driven decision-making, leadership and technology tools and the U.S. Navy, with an emphasis on distance education and the study of expert performance. Other research interests include reading and reading assessment. She serves on the Executive Board of the Florida Center for Reading Research.

Rabieh Razzouk, MBA

Technology Administrator and Associate Director of LSI

As Associate Director of Development and Administration, Mr. Razzouk is responsible for financing and proposals, information technology, accounting, human resources, facilities, and general support. Mr. Razzouk has extensive business experience including as an IT Manager at Purdue University and a marketing director for FIAT, as well as co-founder and president of a multi-million dollar educational computer company in Lebanon. His research interests include information technology, virtual reality, distance education and multimedia.
