Advisory Board

The role of the FCR-STEM International Advisory Board is to provide oversight and recommendations for the center’s activities. The board’s first priority will be to assist the center in developing a 5-year research plan. This plan will identify research most critical to building the knowledge base required to improve instruction, teacher professional development and teacher pre-service preparation in Florida. It will guide the long-term expansion of FCR-STEM’s research faculty. Members include:

  • Science and mathematics teacher educators
  • Teachers and parents of preK-12 students in Florida public schools
  • District school superintendents, executives of professional associations and other educational leaders in Florida
