FCAT Mathematics Achievement Level 3 and Above by SWD, Grade 5
From 2002-2008, the gap between percentages at level 3 and above on FCAT Mathematics achieved by fifth grade students with disabilities (SWD) compared to those without disabilities decreased by three points. From 2002-2008, students with disabilities scoring at grade level and above increased by16 percentage points, while students without disabilities increased by 13 percentage points. However, in 2008, 35 percent of students with disabilities scored at grade level and above compared to 67 percent without disabilities, a difference of 32 percentage points.
