FCAT Science Achievement Level 3 and Above by FRL, Grade 8
Fewer eighth grade students on free and reduced lunch (FRL) performed at grade level and above compared to non-FRL students on FCAT Science. In 2008, 26 percent of students on FRL scored at grade level and above compared to 53 percent not on FRL, a difference of 27 percentage points. From 2006-2008, students on FRL scoring at grade level and above increased by 8 percentage points, while non-FRL students also increased by 8 percentage points.
