FCAT Science Achievement Level 3 and Above by Ethnicity, Grade 11
From 2006-2008, the percentage of eleventh grade White students scoring at grade level and above on FCAT Science was higher than all other racial/ethnic groups. However, Hispanic students in eleventh grade made the greatest increases in the percentage of students scoring at grade level and above compared to the other racial/ethnic groups. During this interval, Hispanics scoring at grade level and above increased by 4 points (to 29 percent), compared to 2 points for both White and Black students (to 50 and 16 percent respectively).
