FCAT Mathematics Achievement Level 3 and Above by LEP, Grade 7
Since 2002, the percentage of seventh grade students with Limited English Proficiency (LEP) scoring at grade level and above increased by 8 points, while state averages* increased by 13 points on FCAT Mathematics. Furthermore, fewer LEP students performed at level 3 and above compared to all seventh grader students on FCAT Mathematics. In 2008, 28 percent of LEP students scored at grade level and above compared to 60 percent of all seventh graders, a difference of 34 percentage points.
