FCAT Mathematics Achievement Level 3 and Above, Grades 9-10
There has been improvement by high school students on FCAT Mathematics from 2002-2008. More tenth graders have performed at grade level and higher compared to ninth graders on FCAT Mathematics. In 2008, 69 percent of tenth graders scored at level 3 and above on FCAT Mathematics compared to 65 percent of ninth graders. However, the percentage of ninth graders scoring at level 3 and above on FCAT Mathematics increased by 18 percentage points between 2002-2008, compared to 9 percentage points by tenth graders.
