
FCAT Mathematics Achievement Level 3 and Above by LEP, Grade 10
Since 2002, the percentage of students with Limited English Proficiency (LEP) scoring at grade level and above increased by 7 points, while state averages* increased by 9 points on FCAT Mathematics. Furthermore, fewer 10th grade LEP students performed at level 3 and above compared to all tenth graders on FCAT Mathematics. In 2008, 33 percent of LEP students scored at grade level and above compared to 69 percent of all students, a difference of 36 percentage points.
