FCAT Mathematics Percent of Student Passing (≥300) by LEP, Grade 10
Students with Limited English Proficiency (LEP) passing FCAT Mathematics increased by 10 percentage points, while state averages* increased by 8 percentage points between 2002-2008. However, fewer 10th grade LEP students achieved a passing score of 300 and above compared to Florida students on FCAT Mathematics. In 2008, 49 percent of LEP students scored at grade level and above compared to 81 percent of Florida students, a difference of 32 percentage points.
