
FCAT Mathematics Percent of Student Passing (≥300) by SWD, Grade 10
The greatest increases in percentages among 10th graders passing FCAT Mathematics from 2002-2008 were also made by students without disabilities, showing evidence of an increasing gap between students with and without disabilities. In 2008, 44 percent of students with disabilities achieved a passing score compared to 85 percent with no disabilities, a difference of 41 percentage points. From 2002-2008 students with disabilities passing FCAT Mathematics increased by 7 percentage points, while students without disabilities increased by 9 percentage points. This indicates a widening of the gap.
